What was the highlight of Hotel Monterey La Soeur Fukuoka
The hotel is well-located but with hot and not so clean room.
The hotel is located near shops and restaurants with 7-11 in the hotel’s building. There is also a dining area with complimentary coffee and tea on the first floor.
The thermostat was not working and the room temperature was too hot despite winter time. The alternative solution offered by the hotel was to have a hotel staff came up to the room to open the window. The street noise was then too loud for anyone to sleep comfortably. Despite a 26 square meter room, the layout of the room was awkward making it difficult for three people with two big luggages to stay. The room looked clean but the floor under the bed was indeed quite dusty.

It’s in a great location. Right by Tenjin Station. The bathroom was nicer than I expected.

Great stay in a quiet area, but shopping is within 6-minute walk
Location is near, just need to exit at 3, that will take you 3- minutes from the station. Very near Parco. Iwataya Mitsukoshi is within walking distance.
Quite pricey for a small tight room but glad that they clean up our rooms everyday. They also provide water everyday. Coffee and tea are free at the first floor.
